Ch.1 Arrival

It was a calm summer day at canterlot castle and star had just turned 5 years old. Star is a blue alicorn colt with a light blue and teal mane and tail also his eyes are red and like a dragon and there is a reason behind it but he doesn't like to tell anyone. Luna walks into stars room and ask "Star what do thou want to do today?" Star replied" Probably going to go play with some friends mother" and Luna smiled and said " Alright just be careful". Star smiled and said " When am i ever careful mother" Luna sighed and left stars room then star headed out of his room and started walking threw the castle till he got outside. Star took in a deep breath and smiled widely " Its such a gorgeous day" Star said then took off running to go find his friends unknowing that he was being watched by a mysterious pony. Star continues to walk through canterlot looking for his friends but there were no where to be seen then out of no where star feels something hits is neck and he falls to the ground unconscious. A few hours have passed since star got hit by something and he finally started to come to and looks around " where am i?" Star said as he continued looking around then tried to remember what happened but couldn't remember a thing "also who am i?" Star said then some pony walked up to him. The pony spoke with a deep raspy voice and said " You are in the shadow force hospital you were hit by a poison dart that could have killed you if we wouldn't have found you". Star looked very confused and rubbed his neck and gasps as he felt where the dart had hit him. Star then said " so i got hit in the neck by a poisoned dart but why cant i remember anything like who i am?" The pony then replied " the poison affects the brain and it was in you for a little while so it could have gotten rid of a lot of memories but they should return over time but for now just try to remember you name. Star then thought hard trying to remember his name the said " My name is.......Shooting Star" and the other pony smiled. Then the pony said "well Shooting Star i am the leader of the shadow force my name is Dark Wing." Stars vision finally returned and he looked at Dark Wing he was a pure black Pegasus with a grey mane. Star sat up and Dark Wing said " Please just stay laying down your not in good condition yet so please just relax here in the hospital wing" and star nodded and laid back down on the hospital bed and fell asleep. About 2 years have passed and star has been training with the shadow forces best stealth operative Rose Ze Amor. She was a red Pegasus with a dark red mane and she was a very elegant and harsh teacher on star but no matter what he came out with promising results. Star was still trying to remember who he was but still only knew his name but has made some good friends in the shadow force. One being his instructor Rose and the other was a stallion by the name of Thunder spark he acted quite classy he was a teal Unicorn stallion with a yellow and blue mane. Star was busy training with rose practicing his stealth and he had hid pretty well and rose was supposed to find him she searched for a good half hour with out finding star the she sighed and said " alright star zat is enough for today" and star came out of his hiding spot and smiled. Rose smiled back at star and told him" you can go to your quarters to rest up for tomorrows training" and star replied " Yes Miss Rose" and star headed for his room. Stars room was plain it had a bed and dresser not much else but star didn't mind most of the other ponies decorated there room with pictures and other things to remind them of home but not star since he couldn't remember his home. Star sat in his room waiting for dinner to be called up so he could talk with his friend Thunder Spark who star main just calls Spark. After a good few minutes dinner got called and star headed for the mess hall and got some hay fries and a hay burger and sat down at a table and after a few minutes Spark sat next to star. Star just ate his food and spark at his and when they finished Spark said " Ahhh that was good don't you think star" and Star nodded in agreement. Spark smiles and asked " So how goes the training for the youngest member ever in the history of this force" and star replied " its tough but nothing i can't handle" and Spark chuckled and said " you are one really tough colt" Star blushes slightly at that but hid it really well. Dinner ended a half hour later and star headed to his room and laid down on his bed and stared at the ceiling trying to remember who he was again but got nothing and sighed. Star then thought to himself " Will i actually ever remember who i once was or will i never find out?" Star rubbed his head and yawned. Star look around for a bit and started to get tired and star closed his eyes and fell asleep. Rose walked into stars room a few minutes later and saw star asleep. Rose smiled then walked over to star and kissed his forehead like a mother would since star was still just a colt and star smiled in his sleep and rose quietly said " Sleep well star cause you will need all you strength for tomorrow" and then rose left the room. The Next Day came around an it was like all the rest breakfast, training, lunch, training, dinner, then quarters and sleep.

CH.2 Star's First Real Mission

Star has trained so much over that last year and has gotten really well with his stealth,magic,and blade skill and got his cutie mark representing it. Star got called to a boardroom same as spark and when they arrive Dark Wing was there with a file and said "Alright you two listen up i got a mission for you and 2 others its an assassination ok so travel very silently understood" Star and Spark nodded and both say" Yes Sir" And dark wing smiled then said " Go to the armory and gear up then head to the mission site" Star and spark saluted and headed for the armory. They got to the armory and walked inside spark grabbed his gear and Star found gear perfect for his style of combat. After they got everything they needed they opened the file to see where they needed to go and headed off to the mission point. The got there as quick as they could and meet up with there other teammates and star was a little to happy to be killing some pony he doesn't know much about. Star made sure to stay silent and whispered to his team "Its best to wait for the cover of nightfall" and everyone agreed so the stayed there waiting for night to come around. They waited for hours and the sun finally started to go down and the moon started rising and star smiled. Star drew his sword from its sheath and inspected the blade till the moon was fully up and they were hidden in the night. They were about to start the mission when Spark blasted star and the other 2  ponies with them with a very powerful electric based spell killing all but star and spark laughed. Star couldn't believe what was happening and said " Spark what are you doing?" and spark laughed more and said " I'm getting my better pay for killing you ponies that's what". Star couldn't believe his ear then spark kicked star hard in the head knocking him unconscious. A few minutes went by and star came to but there was a ticking noise near by and stars eyes shot open as he was face to face with an explosive. Star quickly got up and started to run from it bit it was to late the explosive when off sending star flying through the air. Star was in major pain then looked over his body and screamed when he saw his hind legs were almost completely gone but that's not all his vision in his left eye was gone to and he couldn't hear out of his left ear. Star laid there bleeding out till he passed out from blood loss then rose showed up and saw what happened to star and picked him up and took him back to the Shadow force. Rose told the doctor " Please doctor fix up my student " The doctor said he would do his best and patched up stars injuries. Star laid there asleep with bandages on the stumps that used to be his back legs and has another bandage around half his head. Dark Wing came into the hospital wing and saw star and walked up to rose and ask " Rose do you have any idea on what happened" Rose just shook her head and sat by the bed. Star regained consciousness a little while later and looked around with his right eye. Dark Wing Walked over to star and asked " Star can you tell me what happened on your mission" And star nodded and started to explain " We got there and we were going to use the cover of nightfall so we waited till night came around and when it did things went bad Spark blasted us all with magic killing the others with us but i survived then i asked what he was dong and she said getting his better pay they kicked me in the head and i blacked out when i woke up there was an explosive there i tried to run away  but it exploded and well i guess you can see what happened after the explosion sir." Dark Wing was shocked to that Spark had betrayed his own Shadow Force brothers and sister and headed to his office and star laid back down on the hospital bed and rose stayed right there beside him. Star has been recovering for a few days and dark wing walks into the room and Rose is asleep, Dark Wing walks over to star and says" Star how would you like to have our legs,Eye,and ear back" and star replied " More then anything sir' and Dark wing smiled and picked star up and said " Well im going to give them to you. Star smiled at that and Dark Wing to star to the Shadow Force lab and laid star on a table and told a scientist " I want this kid fixed up alright" and the scientist nodded and star got injected with some anesthetic and was out. The Scientist got to work and removes stars bandages and he cut out stars injured eye and ear and then got some robotic ones and attached them. The Scientist then got 2 robotic hind legs and attached them to the two stumps where stars legs one were and smiled then the scientist walked to Dark wing and said " I did what i could just give him time to wake up from the anesthetic and Dark Wing nodded.

Ch.3 Getting used to new limbs

It has been a week since the betrayal of Spark and star was in his room laying on his bed haunted by it. Star thought to himself " Spark why did you do it why would you betray us?" Star laid there motionless for a few minutes thinking about what he would do if he saw spark again. Dark Wing came into stars room and saw star just laying in bed looking at the ceiling and said " Still thinking about what happened" Star nodded. Dark wing walked over to star and sat on the edge of the bed And said " You should really start trying to learn how to work those new limbs we gave you Star" and star replied " Ok sir" and star got out of his bed. Dark Wing smiles and left stars room and Star started to practice walking with his new hind legs it was very difficult for him since his hind legs are now heavier then before. Star continued to practice with his new limbs trying to understand how they work his new eye had different things to it as well. It had a motion detector, Heat detector, Night vision, and optical zoom, it also showed stars stamina and told him when he was wounded or in danger thanks to the motion tracker it even showed friendly and hostiles depending on who was programmed into the eye. But they eye could also hack computers locks anything star needed to hack. Rose came into stars room and walked over to star and hugs him and asked " Are you doing alright star?" Star replied " I'm doing just fine but if i see spark again he is going to regret it" Rose was shocked by how much this incident actually changed star. Star was more hostile and acted way more serious then he has ever done before the betrayal. Rose sighed and let go of star and said " Until you get used to those new limbs of yours all are training is postponed" and Star replied " Yes Miss Rose it is best i learn to use this first before training again" and with that star resumed his practice with his eye, ear, and hind legs. 4 weeks have passed and star has gotten pretty used to his new limbs but not completely but he was back training with rose in all his arts of stealth and combat. Rose and star were training in hoof to hoof combat, star was on the defensive as rose threw a series of punches at him and when she cocked her leg back for a devastating punch Star jumped back out of the way and rushed at rose and she went on the defensive. Star kept rose on the defensive till she said that's enough and star stopped and before rose could say anything to star he headed for his room. Rose dropped her ears and thought " What has truly happened to my best student?" Star got to his room went in and laid down on his bed and stared at the ceiling like he has for the last 4 weeks. Star kept thinking about Spark and how to get his revenge on him. Star looked at his wall with a picture of Spark on it and grabbed the kunai knife of his bedside table and threw it at the picture hitting sparks head right in the center. Star then said " When i find you spark this picture is going to become the what i do to you." Star laid there motionless again until it was lights out for the whole base star took off his legs,ear, and eye and set them next to the bed and went right to sleep.

Rose was in her room thinking about what had happened to her best pupil and still could believe what happened to star. Rose laid there on her bed continuing to think about it and said to her self " Why did this have to happen to him he was just a child a sweet innocent child" Rose's eyes started to water at the thought and she started to cry for a little while till she fell asleep. The next day came around and Rose walked to starts room and looked into it but star wasn't there Rose questions " Where could you have gone star your usually not out of bed yet." Rose headed to the mess hall and looked in there but star wasn't there either and she started to get worried. Rose then headed to the training area where star was waiting for her to arrive but he was silent and just looked at rose. They began there training but rose could focus well at all because she kept thinking bout what had happened. Training ended a few hours later and star left with out a word and rose started crying and asked herself " Will he ever be back to the way he was?" A few months have passed and star showed no signs of getting any better he still doesn't talk and only focuses on training. Rose has noticed star doesn't eat a lot and his attacks are a lot weaker then usual during there daily training. Rose call the training off early and star looked at her confused and she spoke " Star i have noticed what you have become for sometime now and its not healthy your not getting properly fed and you body is growing weaker." Star stood there looking down at the ground and finally spoke " I'm sorry rose but i cant get over the fact of sparks betrayal."
Rose lowered her head and said " I know star but listen you need to eat better cause if you keep it up you will never have the strength to get back at him for what he did to you" Star nodded knowing what rose meant. Rose walked over to star and hugged him crying and Star looked at rose and saw his reflection in her tears and he then realized what has been going on with him. Star then spoke " I...I...I cant believe what i have turned into because of this." Rose kept hugging star crying and star slowly proceeded to hug her back and started crying himself and said " I'm so sorry rose i was blinded by my anger for spark i couldn't see what i have truly become" Rose looked at star and spoke " I know but i will help you anyway i can." They continued to hug for a while till it was nearly light out and Rose kissed stars forehead and he smiled a little before getting out of the hug and heading to his room and going to bed. Rose then started doing her nightly duties she walked the halls of the base for about 2 hours and nothing had happened and her shift was over till tomorrow. Rose had headed for her room and went inside and she walked over to her bed but then looked on her bedside table and picked up a photo of he and star when he completed his enrollment exam and she smiled. Rose set the photo down and laid down on her bed and looks at the ceiling and smiled again and said " I'm glad you are becoming yourself again star even if its only a little at a time" with that said rose closed her eyes and went to sleep.

CH.5 Assault on the base

It was the middle of the night and everypony was sleeping peacefully in there rooms. Star was laying there peacfully then his motion tracker started picking something up and he opened his eyes. The motion tracker picked up alot of movement outside his door and star got up and walked to his door and cracked it open. A lot of ponies ran by but the one star noticed the easiest was spark leading them. Star growled and snuck out of his room and carefully went to the security office where the guards were out cold so they couldn't trip the base alarm. Star laughed quietly and turned on the alarm and looked threw the cameras and saw spark pissed and yelling probably saying something like " i thought you took out the guards". They started  heading for the security office and star jumped he looked around quick and hid in the security's weapon locker and looked through the small gaps  and spark walked in with the ponies he was leading. Spark looked around then walked up to the locker and star ducked down to hide. Spark then looked back at his team and spoke " Someone must have saw us and came here and turned on the alarm when they saw the guards out of it." Star remained silent and they all left the room and star got out of the closet and started watching the cameras again and rose ran into the security room. Star jumped then realized it was rose and she asked " Whats going on why is the alarm sounding" Star replied saying" Just take a look Ms. Rose" Rose then looked threw the cameras and couldn't believe what she was seeing. Rose then said " I wonder what there after" Star then said " I think there after are most sensitive files but they wont get them just cover me for a sec Ms.Rose" Rose Nodded. Star used his robotic eye to hack into the shadow forces files and downloaded all of them into his eyes memory then deleted them from the network so now the only way they could get them is from star. Star and Rose started moving stealthfully threw the base and they decided to split up and star went into the training room and Spark was there and star jumped. Spark spoke in a mildly angry tone " Give the files to me star i know you have them" Star Retorted angerly " I will never give them to you spark" Spark laughed and spoke again " Well i don't really need you i just need that eye of yours." Star gasped then drew his sword that he grabbed before he got to the training room. Spark laughed and grabbed his sword and pointed it at star and said " Do you think you can beat me i have for more experience then you." Star growled and his fur stood on end and he yelled " I HAVE MORE THEN ENOUGH SKILL TO TAKE YOU DOWN!" Star charged at Spark in a furry of rage and spark blocked every attack star threw at him. Star grunted and kept trying to attack spark but kept getting blocked until he knocked stars sword away and smiles evilly and stabbed star threw the stomach. Star gasped and coughed up blood as he had the sword threw him and spark laughed and said " I told you that you can't beat me." Star kept coughing up blood and his head fell like he died and spark dropped the sword. Spark laughed manically and started to leave but stars hoof grabbed his leg and spark looked back and couldn't believe what he saw and said " B....b....but i killed you." Star laughed and stood up and pulled the sword out of his stomach and said " It will take more then that to kill me." Spark then assaulted star with punches and star took them all and spark got tired and spoke tiredly " why wont you go down?" Star then laughed and said " I will not go down not until i end you" star's rage started to boil and his fur started turning blood red and his eyes went dark. Spark was starting to look scared frighted bout what was happening to star. Star's mane grew longer and turned black and his tail now looked like a three bladed scythe and also turned black. Spark was now terrified and what ever star turned into opened its eyes and stared at spark like it was looking into his soul and spark slowly backed away but he didn't get far s the creature attacked him and bit down on his neck breaking it but with sparks final bit of life he drove a knife threw the creatures heart then spark died. The creature returned to star and he stood up bleeding badly and pulled the knife out of his heart and slowly made his way to the main office where Dark Wing would be. Star kept moving even with sever injuries and a stab threw the heart but something was keeping him going but star didn't make it to the office and passed out in the hall. Hours passed and sparks men had been dealt with and rose has come across star and looked him over and noticed the heart wound yet his heart was still going and she couldn't believe he was alive and ran him to the hospital wing and laid star on a bed. The Doctor walked over and noticed stars wounds and stitched him up but star remained out.

Ch.6 Project Darkness


    It has been a few weeks since the attack on the base and star has made a fully recovery but rose still couldn't believe star survived a stab threw the heart. Rose and star were doing there basic training when something happened star started to laugh a little crazily and his mane and tail turned black. Rose was frightened as stars fur changed blood red in color and he just charged at her like he wasn't in any control of his actions. Rose tried to talk to star but it was as if star couldn't hear her she kept trying to get threw to him but it didn't work. So instead of talking she mainly focused on avoiding star's attacks which she did quite well since his moves were very predictable. Half an hour passed and rose plus what ever star became were getting exhausted and star changed back to himself and fell to the ground and Rose walked over to him and she said " What was that thing he became?" Rose picked up star and carried him to the lab and she asked a scientist " There is something wrong with star during training he turned blood red with a black mane" And the Scientist responded " Ahhh that must be project darkness in action" Rose had a confused look on her face. Rose the asked " What is project darkness?" And the scientist responded " Dark wing made the project basically it gives a pony such as star a negative force or dark form as you could call it and when in that state his power,speed,stamina, increase by two times as much but hes still a colt so he currently would have around your stamina rose." Rose couldn't believe what the scientist just told her and she ran as fast as she could to Dark Wings office and she grabbed him and slammed him to the wall. Dark Wing asked " Rose what are you doing!?" Rose Replied " Why would you do that to star he was a good kid and strong her didn't need that whatever you did to him. Dark Wing responded "That thing is what keeps star alive when he was in that explosion his organs where bad and when you were asleep we gave him project darkness to save his life." Rose just looked at dark wing i anger then dropped him and started to walk out of the room but before she was out she said " That thing is dangerous it could cost any of us our lives" and with that said she left the room. Star was in his room laying on his bed as he usually does after training but he had no recollection of what happened after he started laughing. Star thought about it but could remember but then something in him jolted and he held his head and remembered something about himself and he spoke " Im.....im....im a....im a prince." Star then jumped out of his bed and spoke again " Im a prince but where am i a prince." Star rubbed his head but didn't get anything else and just walked back over to his bed and went right to sleep. Rose came into his room a few minutes later and saw him asleep and she walked over to stars bed and quietly climbed into it and laid with star and wrapped her hooves around him and she whispered "Good night star sleep well and learn to control that thing inside you." Rose then fell asleep holding star close to her chest and they slept threw the night.

Ch.7 Memories Return

    It had been a few years now since rose learned about what dark wing did to star but he has been in special training to help him control it. Star is now 12 years old and getting much better with all his new abilities though he still loses control at times. Star still only remembered he was a prince and nothing more but that didn't bother him. Star was in his room cause training has just ended and he was taking the time to relax. Then something happened star screamed in pain as his head was pulsing and hurting. But when that happened a lot of his memories came back to him and he gasped. Star couldn't believe what he remembered. Star then said " Im the Prince Of The Night and the son of Princess Luna." Star got up and ran out of his room and tried to make his way out of the base but got stopped. Guards were keeping him from leaving but star yelled at them and said "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" but the guards said "Sorry but we can let you leave till you graduate" Star sighed and went back to his room mad that he couldn't leave and go to canterlot which he remembered is his home town. Star laid back down on his bed and fell asleep. 3 more years have passed and star is now 15 he has gotten way better with his abilities and everything else. Lucky for star graduation exams were close by and he was old enough to take them which made him happy. A few days have pasted and the graduation exams were underway it consisted of 4 parts Stealth,Combat,Strategy,and a Written Exam. Star Did Flawlessly on the stealth and combat portion of the test. Star lacked some strategy but still passed it but with a D then the written exam. There were 100 questions on it about everything they learned  and star well he didnt remember much but got a C on his test and turned it in and then would have to wait a few days for the results. 5 days have passed and the results are in and those who passed got called to the court yard among those who got called star was one of the and he was over joyed and ran as fast as he could right to the court yard. The Ceremony got under way and each passing student got there graduation diploma and star was the last one and got his and was so happy. After the ceremony dark wing walked up to star and said " You are now free to leave this academy as a shadow force solider Star. Star hugged dark wing then ran off and left the academy and started making his way towards canterlot. Star got to canterlot after about a week and walked right to the castle and guards stopped him and one said" Halt who goes there" and Star Replied " The Missing Prince Shooting Aligore Star." The Guards went wide eyed and bowed down allowing star inside and inside he went. Star walked around the castle for a while till he found his room and walked inside and on his bed was Luna crying she was obviously worried about what had happened to her son since he had been gone for 10 years. Star then spoke " Mother im home" Luna's ears perked up and she quickly turned towards star and gasped and she just got up and ran to him and hugged him. Luna then spoke" Star my son where have you been for so long" Star then replied " Somepony tried to kill me but luckily i got saved but lost my memory for 7 years and where i was wouldn't let me leave for 3 years after that." Luna was crying tears of joy knowing her son is back and hes safe and hugs him tighter. Star smiled and hugged Luna back crying tears of joy aswell since he was back home and in his mothers hooves. Luna then spoke" You seem tired my son you should get some rest" Star nodded and laid on his bed and fell asleep and Luna left the room but then said before the door was closed " Welcome Home My Son."
